The Hamilton, a lovely model in Palm Island Plantation, located on north A.1.A., in Vero Beach, is built around a central courtyard that brings new meaning to outdoor living. A large, wood-burning, cast stone fireplace, just outside the great room takes place of honor in the covered loggia. The roofed balcony on the second floor protects the loggia and offers a delightful view of this outdoor living area.
Weatherproof furnishings from the Barkley International Design Group grouped around the fireplace make delightful conversation pieces. Bronze-toned, powder-coated aluminum chairs are cushioned in a Golden Beige acrylic and are gathered around a glowing golden granite-topped table that vies with the Florida sun in welcoming guests to casual entertainment. It’s a great place to gather, even on cool evenings, with the generously proportioned, glowing fireplace close enough to be cozy.
Scattered chaise lounges and casual side tables make great lounging and chatting areas. Directly under the balcony a large, rustic, rectangular, Indonesian teak dining table with six matching chairs give new meaning to the phrase “dining out”.
Florida sunshine and carefully provided shaded areas invite daytime entertainment, while graceful candles in ornate holders and hurricane lamps romantically lighten an evening’s dip in the pool and an al fresco meal.
